about three weeks ago I start communicating with a really really great guy. we seem to hit it off right away. Always great conversations and laughs, suggestions of seeing each other--he mentioned how it would effect his ability to concentrate just on our words lol.. frequent messages and phone calls. Sometimes just to say hello, other times to engage in talks. wonderful time. He drops hints about meeting spontaneously, I am scared becuase I have not dated in a long time. I get to a point and tell him I am ready to meet. He seems really excited and then the next day it's like a "cool the jets" , he doesn't want to mislead or hurt me, he says has opened his heart a little to me but wants to make the right choice and give himself the chance to evaluate additional matches. I am shocked, but supportive. Of course I want him to make the best choice. I really like this guy , I don't know what I did wrong if anything. I am sincere in wishing him well in his endeavor, I really thought we hit it off well. The advances in communication were all iniated by him. I am at a loss. We didn't say goodbye at all, he will send me a note in a few days.. as a matter of fact he says no mattter where out paths lead us he still wants to meet ...I am thinking he is confused or he is just too nice to say otherwise. I asked him point blank if he felt a connection with me He did say yes. I don't get it
