well, there's this girl i play volleyball with. every time i play aginist her, and even though she may not know it, i see her out of the corner of my eyes her staring at me alot and when she's on the same team with me, she's very touchy feely with me. now she's very attractive, so when there's other guys watching us play, they're always firting with her, so she get's alot of attention, mostly unwanted. so my question, what words should i use to tell her that i've been noticing her and want to get to know her, but at the same time, not be like other guys who have tried getting with her and set myself apart???

You don't talk to people on your team....lol? You've already got a natural "in" with her. Have you introduced yourself? Ask her if she would like to go out for coffee (or lunch or whatever) after the game sometime.

You don't have to explicitly say "I find you attractive and want to get to know you better"; just show some interest.

I agree with the first response. Just be very nice and ask her to grab a coffee or drink after volleyball. Be sincere and genuine. I say that b/c I am considered fairly attractive (while I don't see myself that way, others say it) and it DOES get really old having guys hit on you. But, always when some guy shows a genuine interest in getting to know me, in a sincere and friendly way, it is nice. Most of the time, it's comments that are crude or forward, just the same old thing all of the time.

While I appreciate men noticing my physical appearance, I really appreciate an honest inquiry for a coffee or something with no funny stuff.
And if she says no, don't take that personally. Just continue to be nice and interesting and interested in her. The least that can happen is that you make a friend who shares your interest in volleyball.
