So I met this girl on a dating site who gave me her phone number to call. I called her the next day and left a brief voice mail with my contact info. Two days later I get a text saying that she is going out of town and wont be back till Wednesday next week.

I waited till Saturday and sent a text saying, "Hey didnt hear from you, hope everything is going well and have a good weekend." On Sunday I get a text saying that she has been very busy and would call the next day which is today.

I am not sure if these are red flags or if I should give it a chance? Any advice would be helpful thanks!

This sounds like one of my matches.

I would say that she is either not that interested in you or may not even be interested in dating at all. The ball is in her court. If she calls you when she said she would then good. If not then you should find you someone that is interested in dating you.

Basically she is busy and you simply haven't caught her attention enough to make a serious effort with you yet. You have two choices - give up or persevere. It's a toss up really. Either she'll get interested and start responding or she'll drift off.

Well, I said it before and I am going to say it again . . . no one is ever too busy to communicate with someone he or she is interested in. If she is interested, she will make time to communicate with you. My .02 cents.
