Hi eharmony: Small dilemma. I've been a member of eH for about three weeks with not much success. I've broadended my search, but not a lot of action.

I think the "problem" could be my hair. I have an afro and the afro stays. I love my hair and think it's cute. While it may not photograph well, I'm steadfast on my hair.

Hair is political but I'm not my hair. I'm wondering if there are other naturals or loc'd eH members in this tight spot?

I can't believe anyone would close you because of your hair...that would be pretty shallow.

You have a great picture there..and a beautiful smile! Some lucky guy will love everything about you.

I don't think 3 weeks is long enough to determine anything. I also wouldn't try to find specific reasons either as it may lead to a guessing game in which your confidence in yourself depletes because of an online website!

Stick with the afro, and also stick with the smile.

Thank you Jumping! I have been second guessing a lot lately. Wondering if this is in the cards for me...

Well....I guess it doesn't really matter if people are closing you because of your hair. If you decide eH isn't working for you it won't really matter if it's due to your hair or not, as you won't be changing this anyway. Good luck.

Hi. There is nothing wrong with your hair or your decision to keep it the way you desire. I know that not everyone will like it (as a long-haired male I have come to the conclusion that 90% of women on Earth would not date me due to my hair so I destroy my chances of finding someone every day of the week), but you have to feel comfortable with yourself. If someone really likes you, he will accept you and despite being alone and despite how long it takes to find someone, it is the truth.
