It's been a while since I've dated and I found someone that seemed interested. We went through EH and got to open communication. Received two emails, responded to both. It has been about three days and he did not read my last response, nothing. I am beignning to think I am too old for this or the rules have changed or is it that I am just nervous?

I would let this one sit for a week or so and then follow up with another e-mail.

SW,

Contrary to the way EH may try to portray it, and contrary to the one person we all know that married their first match, EH takes TIME. You are going to go through to OC with a lot of guys and lots of them are just going to disappear for reasons unknown. EH is just a numbers game. Don't put too much emotion into any match until you get to the point of meeting.

Hello... I have been on EHarmony for a couple of years off and on and I get to Open Communication and have met only (1) in person... the rest disappear -- no response for whatever reason.. so... You have to not put all your eggs in one basket... Right now, I have one match who emailed me first, and it was every day until we got to open communication and he didn't post a photo and I inquired, he got mad at EHarmony for not posting fast enough, I "closed" him at that point becuase of his short temper, he asked me to re-open and I did afater I saw his photo, the emails (2nd chance) came rapid, now he says his 10 year son is in town on vacation for 5 weeks, so he is busy, he will call me for lunch when the son goes back to his Mom in another state-- its been 2 weeks -- and no emails-- no phone calls... go figure... so ... it happens to all of us--- I have not closed him... but I think he has disappered..?
