What type of pics do you ladies like to see?

Hello. After a talk with one of my networking groups, pics and poses for men was brought up. I know the basics of good face shots, leave your shirt on, etc... What I want to know is what pose is a turn on, or at least "attractive". Someone had a survey and it showed women liked shots of backs, (in a bed back shot. How a woman sees her future mate sleeping at night) and dress shirt rolled up showing off a nice watch were the top pics.

My question is "is that what you want to see?" and What do you want to see. We get 12 slots for pics, I'd like to have a few that work. Any ideas to help us guys out with our next photo shoot. We don't need replys with photo tips (use the flash, get close, clean up the bathroom before the myspace type shot), just need help on posing for maximum click through.

PS- I shot fashion and glamour for a few years, I make women look great, but can't help myself look good in front of the camera.

I would be thankful for any and all tips.

For the love of anything holy, no more shots of men holding fish. or naked upper torsos and the house is a mess in the backround.

I appreciate pics of a man looking relaxed and having fun, which your avatar does (along with showing off your nice guns...lol).

It's imperative to include pics where you're smiling. Include at least one where it's easy to see your face (that means without shades).

A shot of yourself from the back in bed might turn some women on --- as they close your profile for being too cheesy.

If you want to attract the kind of woman who cares about how much you paid for your watch, then by all means show off your watch. Most of us won't care one way or the other, though. (Rolling up your sleeves to feature nice arms is another matter...)

I think you're overthinking this a bit, really. You can get more mileage out of a great smile than any particular pose before the camera.

just one regular headshot that doesn't look like you were just arrested, smiling, and perhaps a casual body shot does it for me.

The OP does bring up an intresting point: Women are very quick to say what kinds of photos we shouldn't post, but are then are slow or reluctant to tell us what we should post. But when women ask men what kids of photos they should post, we men give the answer: a head/shoulders shot that clearly shows your face and a photo that clearly shows full body. Men don't really care that much about those "other aspects" which women care about.

What the OP is asking is "What are those other aspects you wish to see in an eharmony photo?" This is a legitimate question and not overthought. We realize that the photo is everything.

i don't think women care all that much as long as it's a smiling, clear head shot and maybe a body shot- it's all that other nonsense that gives us pause.
