Well I'm 23 years old and got married when I was 21 this guy was great he did everything to me, treated me like a queen. Well then it turned out he was doing drugs.......I was crushed. Now he is in a drug rehab program and doing good. I'm living on my own and taking care of myself. but threw this I have learned alot about myself and realize that I don't want to do this anymore.

So we talked and we are done..........Well then we decided to date other people. I met a few guys and they turn out to be great. They have good jobs and have there stuff together..........until like a couple of weeks, then they turn out to be crazy and weird. My question for everyone is when does it get better. When will I meet someone normal and can have a normal adult relationship?

Any advice or answers would be great please!!!!!!!!!!

Define crazy and weird?

Anyway, everyone who dates runs into their share of crazies. It's only a problem when the crazies come at you with alarming consistancy. This unfortunately makes you the common denominator and means that your date picking mechanism and your crazies radar are malfunctioning.

A good guy who truly has his stuff together is not going to be crazy and weird, so somewhere you are failing to recongnize something like lying about having his stuff together. Or perhaps you are in too much of a rush to find the next "husband" that you are going out with guys you should not give the time of day to. In short you are not being picky enough or are ignoring some warning signs that they are showing.

My best advice to you is to take a step back. Relax, do your own thing for awhile and take a break from dating. Spend some time on yourself and think about what it is you want and look for in a man and how to recognize a good man when you meet one as opposed to a crazy one. Also, talk to your friends, observe people and learn learn learn. You are very young, so you still have a whole lot to learn. Keep your chin up and just go out and have a little fun without the men for a bit. Once you do that and give yourself some time and room to breathe, you'll find a good man just fine.

I think that pretty much answers the question.

I agree with Dancingfool that you need to take a break from dating. If you have brothers or sisters who are married I think it would help for you to visit them both for at least 2-3 visits each so you can see what a good mate is like and how they act. It is obvious your loser radar is not in working order. Good luck
