I have been married 31 of my 50 years and find that I am having to start over. I'm not sure that I know how. Any advice on where to find men that are stable and not just looking for a one night stand? Any advice on do's and don'ts that I should know about to make things go smoother? Any help or tips would be appreciated.

Good luck! At 42, I just started dating after 24 years (14 years married, 10 years divorced raising my kids). I joined EH and have actually been fortunate to meet a wonderful gentleman within the first month. No way to know where this will lead, but I have enjoyed his company immensely. Just a bit of advice: Always, "Buyer beware." It doesn't matter where you meethim (on line, at the supermarket, at church), I suggest that you checkhim out. A simple "Google" search is a start. I also check criminal records which are available on line in my state. Found out that the first guy I started communicating with on EH was actually several years older than he claimed (closer to my dad's age!) and still married. Current gentleman checked out -- and knows that I checked up on him. Best of luck -- it's a scary thing after so many years, but I am glad that I've given it a shot.

I would suggest you start reading some of the articles posted in the "Dating Advice" section of this site. Some of them are good, some are bad ...most cater to women and women issues and are unfairly biasagainst men in my male opinion, but they will give you a good idea and background onthe pitfallsyou are facing in the dating world these days.
