I have been an eHarmony member for about 4- 5 years. I did drop out but I came back because "hope springs eternal". I have had many matches but we never get beyond the open communication stage and the most promising men always close me out. I have stayed because I know it just takes one, but it is so discouraging. I have changed my profile statement several times-but that doesn't seem to work. I am 66 so I know my age may be against me- but there have to be older men out there that would be interested in getting to know me.

I am re-entering the dating field after many, many years of not dating. I have signedup for e-harmonya couple of times, then I get cold feet and never follow through or cancel my subscription. I have never received a communication from any matches nor have I initiated any communications. Iam a young, attractive, 52 year old who would greatly appreciate any help that you could provide to get me started.I believe having professional editing would help me gain some confidence to move ahead with communication. Thank you for your time and consideration of my request.

I recently joined eHarmony as recommended from friends. I am not a Barbie Doll, but I believe I am a great person I would appreciate any advice someone may have regarding my profile. Putting my best foot forward in writing is not so easy. Also, if anyone knows who to contact through eHarmony to get help setting up a profile, I would appreciate that as well.

I've been on Eharmony for 2 months and only one person intitiated contact. I have contacted several people but only had three people go all the way through to open communication. What am I doing wrong? Or am I just that un-appealling?

Wow! I'd love to have a profile make over! I think the problem is my photo as I've found that if I share it later I seem to get more communicatio. I've had the unpleasant experince of having people stop communitcating with me once I show my photo.



I know I'm not an ugly guy by any stretch of the imagination, but it's been a disheartening experience.



Your help is most appreciated as I would really like to be another eHarmony success story.

Don't worry about standing out. To someone out there, you just might beperfect. Staying home instead of going to a noisy club or a rowdy bar is a thousand time better. I guess it is the company that really counts. As far as your hobbies, you must have interests...reading, watching documentary...most importantly, if you are willing to try new things and go beyond your comfort zone, that can be appealing. Believe in yourself...you are interesting, maybe just not to everyone.

I have been on eharmony for more than a year. I have hada few dates but they don't last. The past several months nobody has initiated communication with me and those that I initiate don't respond. What is the problem? I amfun, smart, pretty, and a good person. Please help me to improve my profile so that it reflects the great person that I am. Needs help

Yes I agree I am also interested in the staff of eharmony looking at my profile and offering feedback.....I have put about a year intowriting my profile and won't be complete until I hopeful get matched witha person seeking to be a couple......I am planning on spending the next year as an eharmony member until I find a match to my eharmonyprofile.....
