Yeah, Boston was interesting. I drove up there about 30 years ago, and remember it still. It seemed like every third street was named "Beacon Street", so navigation was impossible.
This reminds me of Atlanta where every other street is named Peachtree.

And Philly has traffic woes to match any other. There's only two main highways out of the city on the PA side, I-95 and the Schuylkill Expressway (aptly coined the surekill distressway). And the two main bridges to NJ both pretty much lead to the same road on the Jersey side. Try getting to the NJ beaches on Fridays during the summer.

Never ending construction and detours, no grid pattern for roads...downtown consists of randomly laid out one way streets, very high traffic volume, people who drive like absolute lunatics, only two major highways into the city I93 and Rte 1 end up sharing the same road becoming the "expressways". I90 comes in from the west. All three of these routes are backed up for miles every single day. Cab drivers from Nigeria who have no concept of how to drive without almost killing everyone withing a 20 yard radius of their cab. Inadequate street signage. Half the streets aren't labeled so people who don't know the city like the back of their hand have to swerve across several lanes of traffic to make their turn when they realize it at the very last second.

Even though we've all shouted many horrible things out of our car windows, please try to refrain from obscenities or masked obscenities.

I nominate Columbus, Oh. too. Our outerbelt has been nicknamed "the Parking Lot" for good reason. It originally was supposed to alleviate traffic problems, but has CREATED them instead. Every other day, we have a major accident, usually involving a semi that stops traffic on I-71. Tailgaiting, speeding, cutting off other people, not using turn signals, and the ditching around other cars when lanes narrow down for ANY reason, are major issues here. When there is construction, or a gum wrapper, cone, or a drop of rain hits the pavement, it's as though people have completely forgotten how to drive. They drive as though these are catastrophic events. I've lived here all my 55 years, and it has NEVER gotten any better. Just more congested.
