Well I just noticed that EH has a forum!

I guess more exposure can't hurt eh?

So, before I jump in to everyone else's posts, thought I ought to at least introduce myself.

I live in San Diego CA and have been here long enough to be now called a 'local' I'm back on the market, hopefully not for too long, and looking for a one in a million person to share life with. I am still very much set on having a family of my own with a wonderful wife and a couple of kids of my own. That has been quite challenging for me and very costly over the last few years, but I'm not giving up.

Because of my intention to have at least one child of my own, I'm looking for someone younger than me, by 10 - 15 years, which only complicates things. I can go on about that more, but probably not now.

I have a software business here in SD, and always full of ideas and plans for my business, and new ones as they come up!

I have been learning a lot in the personal development area, and I'm totally focused on happiness and positivity as a way of life.

Anyways, there's my intro, ask questions if you like.

Ed

Hi Ed, if you look through other threads, you will see these message boards are more a place to ask questions and discuss issues, not really for self advertisement. Many people here aren't even members of the eharmony dating site, and quite a few are actually in a relationship already.

I think you're the first person who's ever figured out what this section is really for, so congratulations and welcome.

Are you trying to get advice on this "intro" about you? If so, it isn't in the usual eHarmony format. If you are seeking a date from these boards. I will have to remove the thread. (sorry) You can post your profile for review in the Using eHarmony section of the boards.

If you happen to meet someone through these boards that's great, but this site is not for personal ads.

um, interesting...

Well, I have a fair bit of experience in online forums, including owning one myself. In most cases, the forum members like new people to give an introduction. On my forum it's actually required. So when I saw a forum topic titled About You, I wrote a post about... me.

My intent is not to 'advertise' so much as just introduce myself.

If that isn't the intent for this topic, I might suggest that About You isn't the best title? If I missed a more appropriate place to introduce myself, please feel free to move the thread and let me know.

Thanks.

You posted some personal contact info in an earlier post. I have removed it because it violates our CS. You are free to introduce yourself, you are not allowed to post personal contact information on any part of the boards.

You might want to review the CS for these boards.

Actually, this particular board are supposed to be topics relating to "you" in general. So, questions about why people act the way they do. A general "Do you think people who don't own TVs are out of the loop?" question might pop up. Or, some of the fun "10 things about..." threads might appear. It's really an About People more than a specific "you". We do have people who post very specific questions in regards to specific issues with themselves.
