A well-thought out and reasonable approach...not that you need my approval. I hope you find what you're looking for!

Wow! 18 things. That's an impressive checklist to tick off on a date!

Or is it all 18 combined. If so, I think you're probably going to be OK finding Mr. Parakeet.

...That's a great list
Number 11 is the only potential trap for me...

I am older, but feel I'd successfully raise another family... Assuming another's interest & involvement, as well.

This is a pretty standard list..for divorced people with their kids. Have you found anyone who fits this bill...including...# 10 and # 16?

This thread got me thinking about what my dealbreakers really are. I had a hard time thinking of some haha.

1) Under 5'6"-5'7" - I'm 5'3"

Crap. At 5' 9," I'm out. Now I'm too tall!
Is this like the Seinfeld episode.... "I'm out!"

I haven't found one who has ALL these dealbreakers combined, thank goodness.

My current boyfriend has none of these dealbreakers, which is a relief.

We're doing pretty well right now. He is actually the exact opposite of all the deal breakers.
