Push Bras is a woman's way of putting on make up for her breast to give her that extra boost. Most guys I know hate push up bras and so do I. My psychology teacher said that push up bras create FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.

In my opinion push up bras give a false representation of who women are because the breast are not naturally large nor fake. I don't see the reason why women should lie to men about their bust size. There are many men in the world who like breast in different sizes.

Honestly I am a breast man. I prefer a nice set of breast over booty any day of the week. I am still very open to dating small and flat chested women. My preference is more of a want then a need.

However, I would be turned off by a woman if I discovered she was wearing a push up bra because I'm not getting what I'm expected. Although this lie is not on the same level as cheating nor STDs, but it is still a lie. It would be like a skinny man wearing a muscle suit and taking it off when having sex, as the woman is expecting a muscular man but is offered someone totally different.

Now companies are making clothes for women to hide any fat depending on their size.

I may write a letter to Obama to make push up bras illegal. It's false representation after taxation at Victoria Secrets.

Pfft. I wear a push up bra every day. My clothes fit better with it. I feel better with it. I'm not lying to anyone.

It doesn't change a woman's size that much, it just move them around a bit. I've never had a guy voice disappointment when he saw them without the bra.

Sounds like you're the one making the mountain out of a molehill here!

You're confusing push-up bra with a water bra or something similar. Water bras add something while a push-up merely "pushes" you up a bit and would at most add something to the lower portion where you put the cookies (yes, the little inserts are called cookies).

I'll agree with WW in that some pieces of clothing just fit better when you wear one. Believe me when I say not all bras are made alike and the right undergarment can make or break an outfit.

Really?

So, you are in the heat of the moment ...her shirt comes off, her bra comes off, gravity takes hold and ...you are going to tell her to put it all back on because she falsely represented herself?

LOL ...riiiiight!

I will simply say here that all bras have pretty much the same purpose ...when they are lying on the floor next to your bed.

@BikerBeagle.

I said I would be turned off and not have sex. Don't falsely quote someone.

@ The first two wonderful posters.

I pay attention to women regardless if I find them attractive. I've seen some women look small chested one day and large chested the next. Maybe they are stuffing their bras, wearing a push up bra, or a water bra. They are clearly doing something.

Have you two seen the news about the clothes that are made to hide fat? I saw the before and after pictures of these women. It was nearly impossible to tell that these women have some fat..

Are you really serious, or just trying to get attention?

That was a satire piece from the Onion.

I agree that it's false advertising but then again so is the rest of women's beauty regimen...Makeup covering blemishes, hair extensions, fake nails, tanner, spanx etc...

You just have to figure out how much of that crap you can deal with..

Personally a push up bra doesn't bother me, I find it sexy, padded or water bras would annoy me but unlikely be a deal breaker, fake boobs = deal breaker...A respectable amount of makeup = hot, face painted like a two dollar hooker is a no go.

I do wish that women (in general as this certainly doesn't apply to all) would figure out a way to be a little less insecure though. The things they put themselves through to look good for men are crazy especially since they're often not even aware that we don't even like half that crap...

Most guys I know don't even give them a moment's thought. But hey, what do we know? Buncha old geezers...

That's really insightful. Profound, even. And awesome, too, considering the enormous educational resources it took to hone your psych prof's mind to such a high level of perception.

I know. Ain't it wonderful? Big ones and little ones, perky ones and saggy ones, ones that point out to the side and ones that point straight ahead... boobage, in all its splendiferous variety, is just a wondrous thing!

Uh, Franklin, let's be absolutely honest here: you're not getting anything at all, PERIOD. Unless there's been some kind of miracle sometime in the last few months, you've never had a girlfriend, never kissed a girl and never even been out on a date. So why are you fretting about women wearing push-up bras? You should be concentrating on figuring out why you can't ever get up to bat, not what might go wrong when you get to third base. First things first, Dude.

Horrible. Simply scandalous. Next thing you know, those companies will be making elevator shoes for men.

Go for it. But why stop there? Have Obama outlaw ALL bras, because they all cause women's breasts to depart from their natural shape. Push-up bras, regular bras, it's just a matter of degree, right? So make bras illegal, all of them.

Because in these sad and troubling times, we need to put some bounce back in America.

No, I think if a woman can not pass the pencil test she should be required to wear a bra.

I for one am willing to dedicate my life to administering that test on all college campuses for the common good..

I personally don't care what bra a woman wears. Neither bra's or breasts have anything to do with who a woman is as a person. If I am attracted to her then it doesn't matter beyond that.

In my opinion push up bras give a false representation of who women are because the breast are not naturally large nor fake. I don't see the reason why women should lie to men about their bust size. There are many men in the world who like breast in different sizes.

Really? Breasts are all sizes and shapes and I've known many women who would disagree with the fact that you say they are not "naturally large". I disagree.

Honestly I am a breast man. I prefer a nice set of breast over booty any day of the week. I am still very open to dating small and flat chested women. My preference is more of a want then a need.

Women I date are just that. They are women. Not breasts and the breasts do not sway if I will or won't date a woman nor does what bra they wear.

However, I would be turned off by a woman if I discovered she was wearing a push up bra because I'm not getting what I'm expected. I don't see this as being a "lie". I'm more concerned with a womans character, personality, interests and communication. If I wasn't attracted to her, it would have never gotten that far in the first place.

Now companies are making clothes for women to hide any fat depending on their size.

Comments above in red.

I'm not seeing what you are asking advice on here. It does sound as if you have some trust issues but these are all physical traits and clothing and either you are or aren't attracted to a womans body type and style of dress. I know I wear clothes that make me look good but I don't do it as any form of advertising. To me this is like saying that if I shave my head that I am being false because I have hair. I'm not hung up on things that don't matter. Clothes and Hair do not make up "who" I am. They only change what I look like. Women die their hair all the time as do many men. Do you consider that a lie as well? What about makeup?
