Just wanted to wish all the Dads on the forum a Happy Father's Day.

Question: Is there a special (happy, I hope) moment you remember with your Dad?

My Dad was raised in a military family - very 50's style. He was never very demonstrative, stern and was rather bewildered as to how to handle an emotional teen-aged daughter. After a particularly harsh argument between the two of us (complete with slamming doors, tears, shouted punishments, etc) I woke up the next day to discover a note he had left me on my pillow. It was a poem, complete with illustrations, about how I was his star (in the night sense, not celebrity ).

I still have that note.
