I've been feeling very discouraged about this lately. I found out a few months afer joining eharmony that I have late stage chronic lyme disease. This is something I'm working on treating but with not go away. I'm also not able to work now and am applying for disability but I'm still young (18 years old) and have plans for a business of my own and supporting myself. My problem is what do guys think when I tell them these things? Many here are fitness buffs and on my good days I can get out but I'd probably kill myself if I tried to really work out a lot now (not that I didn't in the past). I'm afraid puting unemployed or disabled will set off red lights while reading my profile. So what can I put? I try to be very honest and open about it and explain the situation as soon as I get the chance but it's still frustrating.

Any one have any suggestions that might help?

Perhaps you could list what your job will be in when you are on your way to recovery? I wouldn't put anything down regarding your current health condition as it is not the business of strangers to know details about you. If they are worthy of your attentions they will find out when the time comes.

I have never had Lyme disease, but I do hear that you can live with it if treated. Good luck and here's hoping you are back on your feet soon.
