I just thought this would be an interesting topic.

Guys, what is your favorite cologne that you like and you think it gives you that extra spark when meeting someone or going on a date?

Ladies, what scent do you find draws you in closer to a guy you're with?

Anyone, what have you found to the best value, in quality and price for a good cologne?

I've received a few compliments from Armani Code. Smells great, and my only complaint would be that the fragrance only lasts about 2-3 hours before muting down to something you can only smell if your nose is very close to where you sprayed it.

If you can smell your own cologne, you are putting on waaaaaaay to much.

That I get, but if I run my hand past my face during the "strong phase" I can smell it, but 4 hours later I have to really get my nose close to pick it up. I don't overdo it either. A spray to both sides of my neck, one under each armpit, two to my chest, one on each wrist, and one on the topside of my hands. I don't think that sounds like much, and nobody has ever said anything to alert me that I was overdoing it.

It seems like you are applying a lot. Applying on pulse points (inside of wrist, behind ears, behind knees) is supposed to prolong the scent. Don't you want someone to smell you close up?

I thought women were supposed to apply such a fragrance in a trail to the promised land.
