I like this place when I'm killing time between meetings. I also like visting these forums when I get up for a snack in the middle of the night.

AND.

I have one of them new lightweight NotePad things that I carry around in this cute little man-purse thing. It makes me look important while I'm really just sitting there doing nothing.

I dunno about the IQ thing, I have never been tested. If it has those weird pattern things in them where you are supposed to guess what the next pattern in the sequence is, I would fail. I can never see a pattern!

Some people have met their better half here on EHA, as well as EH, I admit, I'm a softie - I like hearing their stories.

When I found these boards a few days ago, I wondered about that... i noticed some people have their real photos and say where they are located.... curious about this... to hear how often that happens....

Part of my job is to administer cognitive (the jazzed up word for IQ) assessments...if you are ever in the area...

Just FYI, the "real" cognitive batteries are nothing like the stuff you see online posing as IQ tests. So if you ever found yourself needing to be tested for whatever reason, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm here for dating advice. I haven't dated a lot and I have learned here not to take it too seriously. This has helped me have a better attitude towards the process. I have also figured out things about the EH website that I wouldn't otherwise have known. And this has helped me to have realistic expectations from this site. Otherwise, I don't think twice about what people look like or where they live or whatever.

I think that we also need to ask: Why does EH provide this space? The way it's set up with groups featured and even profile featured ala "connect with advice members," there is some aspect of social networking going on. I would guess that EH benefits from this and the members also benefit as well, if they want to. I would guess that a fair # of people just lurk here and don't post.

I just stumbled across this site - I'm on EH - and I realized I was having a lot of fun reading all the different viewpoints, so I thought I would enjoy hanging around here off and on when I have a few spare moments...from what I have seen, there are some truly amazing people on here with some great ideas and views on different things...and some really funny posts too!
