I think it is so romantic if you are feeling into someone!!

But I haven't had the opportunity for this for years and years and my skills are so rusty anyway; but with the right partner that felt the same way I could almost evoke how it feels when she puts her head on my shoulder and wraps her arms around me too, on a dim dance floor with the right music and we move together on the floor and I can smell fresh shampoo and a trace of her perfume perhaps...

It seems to transport me for a time....sexy romantic and enveloping... and unspoken commmunication if you are very lucky..., and both in the same time and place ..

...and I have never seen this discussed here before so I wonder if it is
just me dreaming.

Am I utterly alone here feeling this?

I don't know, I've never tried it. Trying to imagine an Aussie male willingly slow dancing ... nope!

Do I like slow dancing....???
Does a cat purr?
Does the shore meet the ocean?
Does a snowman melt in the warm sun?
Is the Earth round?

Slow dancing is one of those sooooo wonderful things I love to do with the right person. It's like chocolate and fine wine and a soothing ocean breeze all wrapped up into one.

I absolutely love it.

This isn't one of those "any guy will do," kind of things for me, either, but when with the right guy...oh yeah, one of the best things since sliced bread.

Slow dancing is wonderfully romantic.
I also like ballroom dancing. My favorite are the Waltz and Rumba.
I like other types of dancing too.
I would love to go dancing!

Why? ...It makes you feel so connected to your partner.
Besides sex, I think it's one of the most intimate things you can do with the right person.

I think slow dancing could be romantic with right person. Other than that it is just another form of dancing.
