Many times, , as an older woman, I have read comments, posts, blogs, etc. from members and find all ages interesting. We all have single friends, brothers/sisters, uncles, single fathers, single mothers, single girl/boy friends , aunts, etc. that might be a good match for someone . I wonder if networking with one another here through Eharmony might be another means of increasing our chances in finding a compatible person? I would like to hear your opinions.

Hi Dixie welcome to the madhouse that is eHA!

What you call networking is also called "Setting Roxy up with a blind date"..and of course is something thats been going on long before there was an internet dating site.

What I have found most important is getting out of my home and meeting people IRL and not just relying on membership in dating services. I met far more available men as a volunteer, as a member of book clubs, at the local junior college adult classes, at a nearby senior center and on and on....every social occasion is an opportunity to meet someone if we choose to make it one.
