I often get this question and love it! Sometimes I have trouble thinking of good ones.

What types of things would you write?

1. I am allergic to tomatoes.
2. I have been on CNN as well as local news after a friend of mine drove me thru a house in 1995.
3. I am the only person in this country with my name (first and last name).
4. I never use an alarm clock to wake up and yet I have never been late due to oversleeping. My body just "wakes up" on time automatically (was even like this thru HS and college/grad school!).
5. I used to be right handed until I broke my right arm when I was 4; now I am completely lefty in all things except for cutting with scissors/knives.

Random enough for ya? LOL. Great idea.

Not necessarily in order (and I wouldn't relate these right away to my matches, but since some of us have been posting here for a while, just for you):

1) A secret dream, for many years, was to be in the Portland Rose Parade. Eventually, a Pre-Parade Walk was added, and I participate. Even the Rose Queen has a ONCE in a lifetime experience, but I can live my dream over and over, so long as I can walk, and the Pre-Parade Walk continues.

2) I think in spirals and zigzags, not a straight line. This drives some people nuts! My ideal match will enjoy experiencing the nonroutine.

3) I enjoy "classical" music and attend and/or volunteer in many local events. I took many elective music classes in college, never made a dime from years of study, but it has enriched my life so much.

4) Rebuilding my life at this time is challenging, interesting, and fun!

5) I may live well into my 90s, or even past 100, based upon genetics, so I have over 1/3 of my life left, and I am looking forward to see what happens. When I was graduated from high school, I did not want to live a boring life. I received my wish, and am glad.

5-1/2)I truly am grateful for my life, what I have, and Praise The Lord!

1. When I was about 28 months old, I punched my Uncle's bull on the nose ... 'outta the way cow!'

2. I like to print off floor plans and 'improve' them. I am fascinated with floor plans and can be absorbed for hours with this activity.

3. When I put clean sheets on the bed, after dressing each pillow in its pillowcase, I put the pillow in its place on the bed. And then I pat it twice. Pat, pat!

4. When I don't know the word I need to use in a sentence, I replace it with 'the thingies'.

5. I can't stand to touch cotton wool. That stuff is feral.

1. I have been hit by cars six times. I now walk facing the traffic, so that I can see what is coming.

4. I share a date of birth with Oprah Winfrey, former president McGinley, Germaine Greer and Ian Meldrum (sorry Americans, you won't know this one but meri75 will).

5. The oldest thing I own is about 430 million years old, the oldest book I currently own was published during its authors (Henry Wadsworth Longfellows) lifetime.

Only 5????...I will condense it to a little over 5 but my list would be a ream of pages...

1. I laugh in my sleep sometimes

2. I sleepwalk sometimes, but haven't in about a year. Just in case, my son connected a bell to my bedroom door so that my daughter can hear me if I do suddenly start sleep walking again.

3. I read reference books (dictionaries, a thesaurus, books of lists, the almanac, etc.)

4. I hate romantic comedies (unless they are the old ones from the 40's/50's/60/s..."Pillow Talk" is my favorite!)

5. I love documentaries and voraciously read historical non-fiction.

6. I fall up the stairs... and walk into walls, telephone poles, and trip over my feet while walking all the time.

7. I put shirts and blouses on backwards/inside out sometimes. You can imagine the look on my face when a co-worker or student laughs and points at me when I make this mistake...lol!

8. I lose my house/car keys several times a month. I have the locksmith on speed dial...and they often give me a discounted price cause they feel sorry for me. Lately, I have been down to a respectable once a month, but I hate my absent-mindedness. It is the thing I like least about myself...geez!

1. I have a large percentage of Native American heritage, even though I'm incredibly pale! (Although I do go from computer-paper-white to mahogany in the summer!)

2. Another note on my heritage: The rest of my family is from the MacGregor clan of Scotland. Our kilt crest is an image of a crowned lion's head, and our motto is "Royal is my race." I'm descended from Scottish royalty, I suppose!

3. I dye my hair a lot, but my natural color is black.

4. I speak Spanish, French, and Italian--with small bits of German, Polish, Hawaiian, and Latin.

5. I'm a licensed Ham Radio Operator.

2. I have moved about 17 times in the last 28 years.

3. Most of my teeth are crowned from being hit in the mouth with a steel bar when I was 15.

4. I would rather read than do almost anything else (I said almost ).

5. I am named after one of my father's girlfriends.
