Just in case any of you were curious how I sounded like and how much of a beginner I am at guitar, I posted a video of me playing a solo on my profile.

I just started playing two weeks ago, that is when I bought my electric. The solo cuts off in the middle because unfortunately the battery ran out on my camera. I should have done less talking and more playing.

Anyway tell what you think when you can. I just started learning this solo yesterday afternoon and I'm a complete newb to the guitar.

The best part is that I can hear your voice and you have a nice voice. Steady and masculine and intelligent sounding. This video is a bit dark and I couldn't actually see much.
Overall I think having this video in your profile would appeal to a woman who likes electric guitar.

Hey thanks Rainfall girl!!! I really appreciate your feedback! I'm really excited to be learning the electric guitar, it's alway been an instrument I've wanted to learn. I did play clarinet and saxophone for about ten years, so while I'm new to the guitar I'm not new to music.

As for the dark, well I did that on purpose. I don't want to reveal too much of my identity on here. Little by little as I become more comfortable I'll share more. However, for now I would like to remain relatively anonymous.

Thank again for the feedback. The next video I post will be me playing the entire song while singing. Unfortunately, I can't sing. I'm hoping to take voice lessons in the fall.

Thanks again rainfall girl!!!

If you really cannot sing I am not sure you should add that in... This video is nice because of your speaking voice, and the darkness does make you mysterious but not in a scary way. There is an intimacy about it.

I couldn't get my speakers to work!

My printer blew up yesterday, and I was forced to disconnect it. Maybe I s.crewed something else up when I did that. Probably. I don't know what the Heck I'm doing.

I hate all this "Tech" stuff.

Thanks TrekRyder. I love trying to play solos, it's the rhythmic component that bores me. Although I know it's essential, I just find it boring. But still I'll work on the rhythmic portion after I master the second and third solo. Then I'll put the whole song together and try to sing to it. Thanks again!!!

Also I really have to thank That_Guy for mentoring me throughout this whole process.

One of my best friends is an amazing musician.Writes all the music and most of the lyrics for his band..

Livintrust.. look them up on youtube or myspace, They have been on Espn and were the offical band for the Gravity Games.
Scott Stapp from Creed tried to sign them, but he wanted all the rights to the music.

HA! Now I have a voice-image for when I'm reading your posts! That was good, pretty unique too I would think.

PS My cat likes your voice - she came flying over to me and hunted around the speaker, meowing loudly!
