People who tell me "you'll find someone", then refuse to introduce me to anyone.

That just means she's really insecure- she either thinks her husband can't control himself or that every woman wants him.

I'm most easily about absoluteism which isn't a real word apparently.

Generalizations, such as we see on the board so often referring to things like "Women are just looking for a sugar daddy" and "Men are always looking for easy sex", "Women lie and can't ever tell the truth" and "Men don't ever talk about their feelings" to begin with a couple of pet peeves.

OK SOME women are looking for a mate to support them in the style to which they would like to become accustomed and some men are predatory about sex. Some women lie about why they want to break up and some men don't talk about their feelings- but my personal experience hasn't shown that to be true for the majority of my female or male friends.

I wish people (both here and IRL) could understand that their personal bad experience doesn't mean the entire gender is to blame and should suffer for that experience. And if they experience the same kind of thing with more than a couple of partners, it's time to look within for the reason they are attracting that kind of person.

However, because people tend to be invested in their opinions and not looking for alternatives I doubt it's going to happen anytime soon.

In the annoying (which eventually became the good-bye) category, I'm trying to remember if we ever showed up on time (like 30-60 minutes late or more) for a scheduled event. Can I say "her excessive primping" comes to mind without fearing for my life?

You can as far as I'm concerned. A commitment is a commitment. If you've committed to being somewhere at 6, it is the responsibility of the primper to be ready in time to arrive at 6. Anything else is disrespectful to all involved and a wee bit on the selfish side.

My annoyance...people who assume they know me based on their perceptions and pre-conceived ideas rather than actually taking the time to get to know me. My monkey nature makes it almost impossible to not alter their perceptions a wee bit just to tweak them. I know it is a character flaw in myself, but it is sometimes amusing when they finally figure out that they are dead-wrong.

This is hitting it pretty close for me too.

I'm sure it has been said on these forums many times before:
What annoys me more than anything is the pretext of 'scientific matching & high compatibility' when playing with the hopes and dreams of people like me who are searching for lasting relationships. I wouldn't mind merely being honestly matched with men that are eH members and in my set age/distance range, without the profit-driven deceiving service statements.
In my job, I wouldn't pretend that my sessions aid with weight-loss or can cure cancer. I promise however that I'll do my very best to help with muscle tension and pain. It's ethical, fair and honest toward my clients.
Thanks for letting me say this just once.
