Out of pure curiosity, I'm wondering how people feel about a date with tattoos and/or piercings. Any strong feelings? I'm assuming there's wide range of preference here...

Personally, I'm okay with tattoos and piercings on a date. I have a tattoo and a couple of piercings (lip, nose and tragus), so I wouldn't care if someone else did--at least to an extent. I might have to draw the line at a guy having something like "White Power" tattooed on his chest...

I have several tats myself and generally like them on a guy. Or on a woman too for that matter. It's a personal expression akin to makeup and hair dye IMO.

Piercing is pretty much not done by my generation, though my #2 son has several piercings and they are nice, and the grandkids all have piercings- So I don't have a lot of personal experience except with ear piercing.

I enjoy my tats a lot and am planning a big back piece-I guess my boyfriend likes them, the thinks they are pretty at least, even the one thats in memory of my deceased husband.

I have extensive tattoo work. my guy has none, but he thinks mine are dead sexy.

personally, I like tattoos on a guy- it shows he doesn't have commitment issues.

Piercings are an automatic turn-off. I don't care for tattoos, but could overlook a small, benign one.

I forgot to put the cap back on my pen once, then I put my pen in my pocket. It left a big blotch on on me. I'm sure you'd have loved it!

I've not had any men shy away from my tattoos. The ex husband had several (which he acquired over time after I'd got mine - we were over 40 at that point).

So it wouldn't have been a turn off to date an inked guy.
