Okay... decided to write him back and get more details on his original comment (before I did that, wanted to see if I were just missing something obvious... good to know it's not just me who thought the sentence was a little odd). So, he explains what he means about the "philosophy" in his original comment.

Wiseman called this one... he comes across extremely cynical and seems he might have had issues with conflicting POVs with women in his past or something. That, and he just writes in a very confusing (philisophical) way. I found myself needing to read each sentence about twice to understand what he is trying to say ... wonder if that is a sign of what the conversation would be like. Honestly, he ends each email as though it were final, and it's hard to see how/if to continue the exchange! Interesting fellow though... does anyone really write/talk like that. I find myself intrigured to see if he is like this in real life!
