So I posted on my Facebook page:

Guys and gals, do you know of any gal who is single and would be a good match? PM me. Thanks!

Let's see if I get any response.

Aw man, I can't edit the title of this thread. I meant gals interested in dating. No, I'm not bisexual.

Ask one of the online Mods, they can help in changing the title.

I think it's cool you are putting yourself out there. I rarely ask friends to set me up or even tell them I'm looking. I just tell them my wild date stories.

I've had three blind dates in my life, all before I married the first time.

One.....hair longer than mine; mine was half-way down my back at the time.....yeah, I'm that old (old enough to have dated in the 60s)

Two.....itty-bitty guy.....I probably could have knocked him out!

Three.....lots of phone chemistry, hours and hours.....in person not so much.

But the reason I posted.....nearDC changed your title? I don't know what your title was before, but surely there's a lesson in here somewhere.....about people being worth a second look.

When I'm willing to put myself out there and become vulnerable, good things tend to happen.

I think it's exciting to take charge of your life. Hope something - and someone - good happens!

Ah man, I hate it when I do things impulsively. Holy JC. I'm getting a lot of "likes" from people, which I'm not quite sure what that means. I think it means that they like the fact that I'm actually taking proactive steps to get a date or something. I just got a pm from a not so attractive girl. Oh gosh, what did I do now.
