Do you think I'm complicated, a degenerate, an immature guy? Please use this thread to vent about me. It will help me be a better man and a better poster. Thanks!

Most people know I seldom post anymore. I'd like to tell how JustMe and I became Friends. It's surely one of the better things that happened to me here.

We first met in a thread done by Lizzie, another Friend.....What Have You Noticed, I believe. JustMe and I were on opposite sides. I felt like I was beating my head against a brick wall, trying to explain something! I thought he was deliberately misunderstanding; I was terribly frustrated.

The good thing.....I made two new Friends from that thread.

Later, we met in a thread by JDavid.....Top 10. JustMe got into it with JDavid, and even though JustMe and I were again on opposite sides.....he and I had a clever little interplay in that thread, having to do with Dante's Inferno and Shakespeare.....that others in the thread were unaware of.....and made me take another look at JustMe, and appreciate how very clever he really was.

In both threads, as well as in PMs.....I asked JustMe to pick a Gosh-Darn Avatar, for Pete's sake, already! Imagine my surprise, and pleasure, when after Christmas I discovered.....not only had JustMe selected an Avatar......

The Avatar AND tag line.....he chose for me.....having to do with our interchange in JDavid's thread. Long story short, we became Friends. I was his very first Friend. Still am, from what I see.

Who would have thought? Certainly not me! I have to say, I feel better about making a Friend of JustMe.....than I do of any other Friends I made here. That is not to put down any of my other Friends, either; I place great value on each and every one.

But JustMe is really very special.....to me. I wouldn't post here, otherwise.

I think your username fits you perfect. You're just being you!

I enjoy reading your posts and the topics you have created. I don't think you're complicated or immature in anyway. You put yourself out there. I feel you ask and say what many guys are afraid to say..

* add.. I do recall you being extremely complicated when people were giving you carp about selecting an avatar..

Aw, gosh, you remind me of my own kids: smart, well read, and just a bit smart-alecky at times. You've got a good sense of humor, too, although I think you do tend to introspection and overanalysis at times. It's not a bad combination at all.

I'd be proud tof you if you were my son. Now eat your veggies and clean your room! ;p

You seem like a guy working on a prized car from his youth. Always looking for little odds and ends to fix it up just the way you want it to be...except that you're the car.
