A short while ago Mokkesofie and someone I forget commented that folk might be spending too much time on EHa. I had certainly been playing on EHa a lot. Oh, it’s been fun. But maybe enough for now.

1. In our household we have TV free February (which includes all audio visual devices – except for e-mail, banking and homework). Its return to school, daylight saving and my sons tend to overdose on games over the school break. So to model this behavior I’m leaving my laptop in the lounge. Thus, it seemed a good time for me to break the habit.
2. [COLOR=black][FONT=Cambria]Six months ago I logged-in to EHa as I felt less experienced at dating and wanted to get some pointers. [B]

4. And I wish I could have seen Gr8Guyn2008 write something constructive. A guy who has his parents in such a charming pose up as an Avatar, must have something going for him. I wished you had shown more.

It's been good having you around, Fleuellen, but I understand the siren call of real life. And the t.v. free February sounds like a solid plan for you and your sons. Its a good example you set for them.

Be sure and swing back by, don't be a stranger. But, in the mean time, go out and live life some. Have good dates, meet interesting people, do things both fascinating and mundane. Maybe when you come back around, we'll hear stories of a budding relationship that might just be your next life-partner. *grin*

Fair Suck of the Sav!

Only an Aussie Bloke from the Lucky Country of Oz.....capable of teaching a Seppo Shiela to Dux the Fair Dinkum Aussie Strine.....could induce her to come from Back of Bourke Walkabout.....and post, once more.

Like as the waves make towards the pebbled shore,
So do our minutes hasten to their end;
Each changing place with that which goes before,
In sequent toil all forwards do contend.
Nativity, once in the main of light,
Crawls to maturity, wherewith being crown'd,
Crooked eclipses 'gainst his glory fight,
And Time that gave doth now his gift confound.
Time doth transfix the flourish set on youth,
And delves the parallels in beauty's brow,
Feeds on the rarities of nature's truth,
And nothing stands but for his scythe to mow.

And yet to times in hope my verse shall stand,
Praising thy worth, despite his cruel hand.
(sonnet 60)

I think you'll do fine. You have a great attitude, and that WON'T go unremarked and un noticed in time.

Meanwhile, look to the wisdom of the East:
