I have struggled with this my whole life... "Confident but not cocky". What is the difference? I can only think that being cocky is confident without the ability to back it up.. And also being secure enough that you don't have to put others down to make yourself feel better..
I think that's the definition Scarlet would've have gone with. Why is that confusing?
