My thoughts: Cards are stupid. Written by someone else. Cost too much. I throw them away too. Except the ones my guy gives me only because I know he is more like the OP. I know it would hurt his feelings if I tossed one of his cards, but all (almost all) other cards are in the trash 2 seconds after I read them.

I missed this thread the first time around but I am so glad that Mel got her card.

I too love cards - sometimes the cards mean more than an accompanied gift. It isn't that hard guys and to the right girl it means a whole lot. I think if the girl spends time finding you the right card it probably means she would appreciate getting one.

My favorite kind of card - the one for no reason except that I was thinking of you! Sigh!
