Instead of Name the Cat, can you all help me pick an avatar name? I intend on continuing with the conversations on these boards and am tired of "Newbie40Something." What was I thinking? That I am a newbie? That I am 40 something? Blech! I just can't think of anything.

Also, I can't figure out how to change it, so I need help with that too.

Is this stupid to ask?

Be nice!

Try sending one of the mods a message to change it for you.

Newbie

I think that may be something you have to talk to Lori the administrator about. I would shoot her a PM about that.

I don't think you can change your screen name without Admin approval/help, so once you pick something, maybe PM Lori or Kate or Renee to help you.

personally, I think it's best to pick your own screen name- we don't know enough about you or your personality to choose something for you- what if you like it only for a week?

maybe sit down, and and on a big legal pad write down things that you like to do, favorite color, favorite flower, positive attributes you have, best feature, etc, until you find a grouping that sounds good.

you can also search threads here, there have been a few "How did you get your screenname" ones.

^^^^ BTSOOM.

Just lucky I guess!

When you make your request for a name change,

Talk to your Community Team Group -eHarmony Advice

ask Lori if you can take your post count with you, under your new name, if it matters.

She is very helpful and responsive...(at least when it's not football season!)
