Yeah...crazy I know.
I don't think it is crazy! That would have made me happy to get something like that.

Its those temporary states of insanity.....that make this world a better place, Christmas or not.

I imagine that most people take a breather from their matches through the holiday period... right?
I know I would, if I were receiving Matches. I'd probably shut it down before Thanksgiving till after New Years. Maybe till after my birthday mid January..... It just seems easier.

First of all it's rude to ignore anyone's message that you are communicating with. Possibly he/she is busy and has'nt got a chance to return the msg. If not, and you were the last one to write a greeting. Possibly, he/she is not that into you.

If holidays mean a lot to you like they do me, I would like to hear the greeting. I'm 28 and when I grew up it was common place to greet someone in this manner. Because of certain political agenda's its been more and more stricken from common practice.

Its your personal decision what you want to say. Certainly, it is not wrong to wish someone happy holidays, or merry christmas. The mainstream calls it happy holdays now days. Tipping on toes, not to offend anyone. I worked at Detroit airport last christmas when they put up a chrismas tree. Soon after it came to their attention by doing so, they offended certain people. Posssibly, the large muslim community in the Detroit area. idk. The tree was taken down soon after being put up. Lesson is, Christmas offends certain people. Answer is, do you care enough to change your past traditions or cheery spirit.

Merry Christmas to Everyone!
********************************
Or: Miserable Christmas That Sucks!
(Take your pick; I know I can't please everyone, but occasionally I try.)
********************************

I am very offended by those who are offended by everything. If someone sends me an e mail greeting, I respond in kind. These days, it's delightful--and highly unusual--for people to enjoy spreading some joy. We need it, and I'm glad to help.

Again: Merry Christmas!
