As I snuggled into my heavenly bed last night, I thought to myself, "this is the very best part of my day". My bed ROCKS (soft, warm, snuggly comforter, comfy pillows) so it makes me very physically comfortable, plus I love being about to STOP THINKING lol and (most nights) stop checking my BlackBerry for a while....

How about you? What is your very favorite time of day, or part of your day, every day?

For me, it's the early morning. I walk 5 miles every day at about 5:30 AM, and when it's going to be a nice-weather day, I get treated to sunrise over the beach since I'm usually walking east at that point.

For down time, I really like the evenings. I get to sit on my couch, alone, with my cat, and watch TV. Doesn't sound like much, but I treasure it.

For serenity, I like warm, sunny afternoons. I sit on my back patio, watch the view, wildlife, golfers going by. My cat lays under a bush, I may have a beer. Or not.

Late at night on a walk with my dog under a starry sky!

Early in the morning sleeping in or getting to stay in bed on the weekends.

Any yoga class (especially savasana at the end.)

Any time i am outside in the spring or fall and I can sit and enjoy the blue sky and breeze!

The peaceful silence of my home right after work. I love to just flop down on the couch and drink it in. It's particularly wonderful after a long or stressful day.

The second I pull into my driveway and shut the engine off after work, knowing that lovely cold Corona and that beautiful green lime are hopping up and down with joy in my fridge. They wait all day for me to get home.

Early to mid evening. The day is done and now it's time to relax. I might be at home with a glass of wine (or two or three!) or I might be out with friends. Me time.
