I had a dream last night where I was having a relationship with 2 different men simultaneously (which I've never done IRL) ... both were wildly bad choices for me ... in the dream I felt a lot of anxiety and like things were out of control.

I awoke from the dream around 3 am-ish and immediately had some thought about eHarmony. Can't remember the rest of the dream or the thought! But clearly something with the online dating experience is not sitting right ...

I think that would be "whom". "About whom I am dreaming."

No, I don't dream about eHarmony but I often dream about different men, sometimes one, sometimes two or more.

Me too. But these dreams are not usually anxiety dreams!

This one was clearly linked to online dating and was an anxiety dream...

I don't like dating more than one person either. Ick. But, yeah ... it happens ... just for a short while. It doesn't feel right. But neither does dating someone I don't know or have any physical chemistry with.

But hey, that's the process!

No.

I dream of things like being in a house I'm fixing up to sell and suddenly deciding I like it too much to give it up.

I dream of traveling with an old lover who was always a bit negligent but wouldn't actually leave and in my dream my dog barfs on his sleeping bag and I leave it there as a message before I do what I should have done in real life a lot sooner, which is leave.

I dream of castles full of feasts and people in Edwardian clothing who suddenly turn into skeletons and try to chase me over a cliff.

I dream of being a twin and being poisoned by my twin and going back after dying to haunt her.

I dream of dying in a field after being shot down by the National Guard for trying to rescue my ex-husband (fiance at the time) from his mother holding him captive (that should have been a clue) and rising out of my body to watch what's happening below.

I dream of floating in an ocean filled with stars and I can breathe the water.

I dream of being late to the airport and not being able to find a taxi.

I dream of driving in an old pick-up truck with the windows down with a boy I grew up with along a shady dirt road when suddenly it begins to rain snakes and rather than being frightened, I am oddly delighted.

I dream of being handed a baby in a strange city and wondering what I'm supposed to do with it.

I dream of seeing the world from much closer to the ground and chasing a deer until I can leap upon its back and bring it down for dinner.

I have never dreamed of eHarmony or of any of my eHarmony dates. Perhaps there's just no room for them in my dream world.
