Pretty offensive, considering this is customary demands in women's profiles.

So, am I justified to conclude women are "a lazy slob looking for a rich man to support me and provide me with a champagne lifestyle."
As you've stated on these boards many many times, it's all in the attitude and what they are willing to give in return. As offensive as that may be to you, the reality is that there are just as many golddigger men as women in modern times. Of course that does not imply that everyone is such.

Well, I do agree with the part about "they're waiting 'til we show up".

I think you'd be hard pressed to find many guys who'd complain about a woman taking a bit of initiative and indicating that they're interested in them.

Yet despite alot of lip service paid to the idea of being a "strong and independent woman", you'll notice (at least around these forums), that most women are still basically waiting around for the guy to "take the initiative", or "make the the first move". Oh, and naturally it has to be just "the right guy", to boot!

I laugh when I read women in their 30's and 40's say "I'm old fashioned; I expect him to initiate." This was the standard in their grandparents' time. It's never been the case for these women... they're just making a lame excuse for their inaction. I find that many of my so-called independent matches are not really interested in following the process through to even a simple no-commitment first meeting.

I have a match trying to initiate with me right now, but she's hiding her picture. And nothing good ever comes from that. So I'm debating what to do. I'll probably answer back and include a tease that I expect a picture asap.

I'm not waiting. but then again, men these days make all kinds of judgements if you do initiate, so I can't believe all these complainers *really* want a woman to initiate.

they are just bitter about being rejected all the time, is my guess.

*shrug

Nobody in this thread has is complaining, just observing what we've seen. And I don't see any judgments about women who initiate.

Got any helpful comments?

I'm attracted to controllable women ... the kind I can fool with a comment or thought disguised as a philosophical question, but which is really just a means for me to tell them how great I am.
