I do both of these; my alarm is currently set for 6:47 am. I also have it set ahead by 8 minutes. So I guess it is really 6:39 that the alarm goes off.

I have to "merchandise" my cabinets, my closet and most importantly, my bathroom. You would swear that you walked on to the set of a catalog shoot when you walk into my bathroom.
I used to have my snooze set for 7 minutes, lol. Isn't it weird how much of a difference 2 or 3 minutes makes in the morning?

And LOL to the bathroom thing. I wish I could keep my bathroom in catalog-shoot shape! I used to leave like one thing out, or set in an odd place, to create a story in a room. It was usually the kitchen, and it would be something like a cookbook left open on the counter to an interesting recipe, with a pretty mixing bowl nearby, lol.

Nice to know I'm not the only crazy person around!

I'll need to remind myself to do something, but instead of writing a post-it and putting it on the door, I'll find something to remind me of what I need to do and put it where I'll pretty much trip on it.

But my short-term memory is awful, so there are many times when I'll be walking through my apartment and think "Okay, why is there a can of hairspray in the middle of the kitchen floor?" or "Why is my shoe on top of the computer?"

(sigh)

I can't stand to see hair on something , like animal hair on someone's shirt, I start itching and won't stop till I bathe. I do not have an allergy its all in my own little head. LOL

I have to sleep with my hair pulled up on the top of my pillow not around my shoulders, it drives me crazy, all hot and clogging my neck.

I also sleep with one foot out of the covers ,, its my temperature gauge, if my feet are cool I am cool, if they are hot I am hot.

I drive the same way to work every day if I change the route I feel so adventurous, LOL, I am so boring huh?

I am a terrible procrastinator at times, I think everything to pieces and do nothing. Then sometimes, I get impulsive and do whatever.

I hide my toothbrush in the cabinet,, well, I read that the toilet when it flushes throws particles up to 6ft away. I am not taking chances!
Yes, I could close it but then in the middle of the night I will forget and sit on a closed toilet. LOL!!

I like my bread toasted on both sides.

I have a VERY weird thing (compulsion? Perhaps...) about matching. My shoes and purse must match. My jewelry metals and stones must match. When I get a mani/pedi, my fingers and toes must match. Even my undergarments must match each other (and ideally my outfit as well).

Now that I've shared, what are YOUR "weird things" that you do (or don't do?)
This is definitely NOT a weird thing.

Unless you always have to match bright red shoes with bright red purse, animal print shoes and matching animal purse (faux ones of course we don't want PETA to shut eha down ). Must we submit you to "What Not To Wear?" you know the trick....matching without looking too matchy-matchy? (I watched too many reality tv fashion shows )

I will have to say undergarments...it is actually much preferable that they match.

I alphabetize everything...spices, movies, contents of the refrigerator. It makes life easy. Did you notice that I reversed alphabetized this list?

I also tend to count all the time. I have to count each step when I walk up stairs (although surprisingly, not every time I walk down stairs). When opening a can, I must count how many twists I make with the can opener. I count how many times a phone rings. Always counting.

I have to do these little memory tricks, too. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I don't have to do them all the time, but often enough, or I'll forget my head when I leave the house.
