I prefer women with at least as long of hair as I have, but then again, I have an 80s mullet cut with 1 1/2 ft long "party in the rear". I am sure it turns off some women folk but if they cant get past the hair they may be just a tad too shallow for my taste anyhows. As some have mentioned, it is the overall package. My last GF had short hair, as short of hair as I do on top but it fit her face and she wore it well. You cant judge a person by just one physical attribute as you may be missing out on a terrific person to get to know, as was my last GF.

I think that the hair thing is very subjective. I have had long hair, short hair, really short hair and now I am in my 50's and my hair is very, very long and I wear it in a wavy style. I have been told that I have a face than can handle a short haircut - I just loved it because it was very low maintenance. I got attention with the short hair but with my hair really long like it is now - I get way more attention from men who say my long hair is sexy. And frankly I feel way more sexy with the long hair.

One of my friends who is a few years older than me and wore her hair even longer than mine got her hair cut to shoulder length a few days ago. It took 15 years off of her face....it was unbelievable. So the hair I think is part of the total package.
