I know people from this site have gotten together for 'meet and greets' in different parts of the country. Are any of you more or less in the South Texas area to possibly get together?

when I first moved to Texas it seemed like everyone on these boards was in Houston. I made friends with a few of them before that time, and went to a meet and greet/birthday party for one of them shortly after moving to SA.

Within 2 months, I think 4 of them were married! No more meet and greets...in fact, several of them were supposed to come to my place to go tubing....and it got cancelled thanks to a jealous soon to be husband I was sorely disappointed but happy for my new friends who are now scattered about the country. Though, one such friend is still nearby in Austin, we did meet up with another friend who was visiting SA last year. She would probably be interested in another group venture.

I don't know if the reach has ever extended to Brownsville/South Padre but it would be cool to get another group started up, I think. I'm not sure who else is here anymore besides her and I. And by here I do mean a big chunk of Texas!

I went to South Padre for Christmas last year nice place. It sounds like you are enjoying it!

I'm in central Texas but a meet and greet would be something I might be open to. Texas is big, there has to be more of us around here somewhere.
(Just heard a bunch got together in LA and had tons of fun!)

Yes...in TX 'close by' might mean a 6 hour drive. Hopefully some more people who are 'neighbors' will chime in.

CP...that's pretty amazing about 4 people getting married so quickly. Also...about the jealous hubby. lol I don't know why but for some reason I was thinking you were in the Dallas area.

I live in the armpit (El Paso) of Texas. I often go to Austin and SA (9-10 hour drive). I'm game for anywhere there's a body of water; haven't been to Corpus or Padre for quite some time.

Well, I'm on a much less side of the South Texas equation, but I'm a traveler and therefore always open to possibilities of get togethers.

I could be wrong since I don't live in Texas. Just thought I had seen post about it a while back.
