Being the proud owner of 4 tattoos, as well as a great admirer of them on the female form, I took great umbrage with the amount of flames you seem to find on these forms regarding tattoos. So, I wanted to start a thread for those of us who are tattooed/pierced people. Body art is a very polarizing topic, but I wanted to have at least SOME place on this site that it could be celebrated and discussed. Ideally, I would love this thread to become a place to:

- Post pictures of body art you have and are proud to show off
- Get feedback on designs you are thinking about/working on
- Get to know other body art enthusiasts to add as friends


I will get us started by posting a couple of my tattoos. =D

This one scrolls down my right ribcage (it did not feel pleasant), it is about 8"x5." The translation is, "Never forget, always forgive." I think it is very easy in life to hold grudges and contempt way too long and let it poison your life. On the flip side, I think bad experiences in life need to be recognized and learned from and not simply ignored and allow history to repeat itself. It is important that we not forget these lessons in life, but even more important that we grant forgiveness to those who have hurt us.


I have a cross on my left forearm that is a sign of my Italian heritage. It is an Amalfi Cross. This was a cross that worn by soldiers in Italy dating back to the 11th century. It was a crest that was awarded as a sign of courage. It is a symmetrically “square” cross where each end comes to two points (8 in total) … each of those points symbolize a different tenants of courage: Loyalty, Piety, Generosity, Bravery, Glory and Honor, Contempt of death, charity, and respect. I thing those are all things we can strive to do more of in our lives.

okay, my rib tattoo of roses everyone has seen already, but this is my right wrist- pyrate is on the underside, Scarlet on the top.

i have 3 tattoos, 2 on my back and one on my wrist. theyre all flowers i don't have any pics of them but i'll work on that! i love tattoos, especially when guys have them on their arms. that's hot! i'm debating whether to get another one on my other wrist or further up my arm. decisions!
