OK, greetings to a bunch of you here:

mermaid...isn't NB a little, um, landlocked for a person who is ...{searching frantically for a PC term for a mermaid} scales-enhanced and pedicure-challenged?

Pedicure challenged!! That's too funny, Grace!! Yes, we are a bit landlocked, and the river is not safe to swim in, so I am reduced to using pools and the occasional lake.

Not much between Baltimore and DC worth stopping for - unless we are meeting at BWI. What time does our flight leave and where are we going?
I actually went to Columbia Town Center not to long ago. It was quite nice. Annapolis is doable, but it really isn't in the middle for DC and Baltimore. Its more...to the side, kinda. Ellicott City is also quite quaint, but not a real meeting place.

I'm not far from you, PoliticalChick.....just out in the outer outer suburbs. I'm in central MD, about 45 mi. north of DC and 40 mi. west of Baltimore, where my fiance lives.
Hey Grace!

My mother and sister live in Prince George County...MD is a beautiful state, especially the rural areas. I've never been to Baltimore though.

and hello to longsocks, to our self-described Canuck! I think the Rockies in Alberta (Banff & Jasper Parks) are the loveliest on the planet.

and, Mr Right.....a MD meetup sounds fun!! Baltimore, I guess? Or would Columbia or Annapolis be more central for everyone?
Wow...a M&G fro the MD/DC/VA area sounds great! I could visit my mom and then decompress...(lol)

Who wants to be the chairperson and plan this shebang????

(*pointing at Mr. Right*)
