I live in a little town just an hour and a half away from San Jose,California...I recently lived in another little town in Kansas,just an hour away from Kansas City,Mo...very close the the Kansas/Missouri border. And wouldnt you know, we never had a tornado at all!

OK, greetings to a bunch of you here:

mermaid...isn't NB a little, um, landlocked for a person who is ...{searching frantically for a PC term for a mermaid} scales-enhanced and pedicure-challenged?

Pedicure challenged!! That's too funny, Grace!! Yes, we are a bit landlocked, and the river is not safe to swim in, so I am reduced to using pools and the occasional lake.

I actually went to Columbia Town Center not to long ago. It was quite nice. Annapolis is doable, but it really isn't in the middle for DC and Baltimore. Its more...to the side, kinda. Ellicott City is also quite quaint, but not a real meeting place.

I'm not far from you, PoliticalChick.....just out in the outer outer suburbs. I'm in central MD, about 45 mi. north of DC and 40 mi. west of Baltimore, where my fiance lives.
Hey Grace!

My mother and sister live in Prince George County...MD is a beautiful state, especially the rural areas. I've never been to Baltimore though.
