I was going to remind txbubba he'd left out Little Italy in Bawlmer before PinkFlumingo beat me to it...the fiance and I are going there for dinner on Friday .

I'm sure the views of the Bay are spectacular, Pink. It's lovely over that way. Both my mom and my sister live on the coast in Delaware...gotta love those beach towns!!

Yes it is allowed and encouraged to say where you live. It is also helpful if you are asking for advice on an issue as where you live may determine the type of advice we would give.

I happen to live in Orlando, FL. Tourist mecca and land of Mickey Mouse. If you viewed my profile you would see this information on it.

Yes, our onions are quite famous. During harvest time(March-April), the entire town smells of them. I dont care for onions, but I'm glad someone enjoys them.

Don't forget Dafearon as a neighbor also and I think we all need to set up a Maryland get together!

Like you PinkFlumingo, I also work in DC by Capitol Hill and it is definately a great place to work. Wish the commute was better and thankful for the Marc/Amtrak trains and metro to help with the commute when I don't drive the 35 miles into the DC.

Baltimore is a great area (live closer to that then Washington, DC) though funny how I spend most of my time in Washington, DC afterwork and on weekends. Baltimore has some great hangouts -- Canton, Inner Harbor, Little Italy, Fells Point, Camden Yards, etc but outside of that, Baltimore can be a very scary place at night if you make a wrong turn down a road or don't know where you are going.

Yeah to the Maryland people on the board!

PoliticalChick01 and Graceventually - we are neighbors (sort of). I live outside of DC as well - out on the Bay - drive east - turn left and go till you hit water.

DC is a great place to work - Baltimore is a better town to hang out in.

Actually, a better place is further south in Bethesda and Chevy Chase, but you need a lot of dough to live there.
