I read them all and almost understood #5, but as much as I respect and admire Oprah, can we remove her from the Love List before I fully get the True Meaning of 5?

PS. Happy to keep Ellen Degeneres on the list - she makes me laugh and even want to dance a little, which is an essential component of many numbers, but especially the Hi 5!
Glad to elaborate; I hate commercial TV; but will come home from a day of teaching, and at 4 there's Oprah, which, when she's in her down/serious shows I can easily shut off; I guess what I really love about the show is that she tries so hard to please so many.. my favorites on her show are the Dr. Oz shows...and I might throw in a bit of John Stewart and Steven Colbert as great funny news guys. Another big TV love is the Science and Discovery channels. I also feel good about sending $$ in for PBS and LRN. the education channels. That's my FUN/TV interests.
If I have to elaborate about #5, well, let me remain mysterious on that one...this list is about 5 fun things, right? Ain't loving FUN?

You know... they should replace some of the lame questions on the eHarmony profiles with this!
That's a great idea! It would probably be very revealing.

You keep forgetting we live in different countries, let alone on different planets, right?
But somehow we see #5 from exactly the same angle! Mysterious kind of Fun, isn't it?

Only 5? Hummm

1. I found that the best answering machine line of all time was a recording or Badger (from Wing in the Willows) saying
"Who is it intruding an a person at this time of the night?! Begone and bother me no more!"
I had almost everone I knew calling to to listen to i and laughing the butts off! LOL

2. I have lived with more men than I have women. Not sexually- just my roommates end up being men! LOL

3. I am an excellent artist! I love to work with chalks- they blend together so seamlessly..... But acrylics, charcohl, pencil whatever medium is fun for me!

4. I adore horses. Love to scuba dive, camp, hike, go camping on horseback (LOL), hunt, fish and maybe a million other outdoor activities.

5. My son and I built his Pinewood Derby car and are almost finished building a utility trailer. He is a very clever 10 year old and I happen to be very handy. (My dad always wanted a son...having gotten me; I got all the boy training! LOL)

It's been a while since anyone posted here...
1. I can read upside down. Quite fun if the person across the table doesn't know it.
2. I love the smell of fresh printer's ink. I used to be able to tell what day it rolled off the press. If you see someone sniffing the magazines at Chapters, it's probably me.
3. I can fix most broken things. It was broken anyway so why not try to fix it...can't do any damage.
4. I have an amazing collection of power tools, and I know how to use most of them.
5. When the goal is fun, I am very creative and spontaneous. Years ago one of my sisters and I quietly broke into my other sister's house while she and her husband were sleeping. We placed pots and pans all over their bedroom floor, then went back outside and made a lot of noise under their window. We heard her husband jump out of bed and crash through the pots and pans to get to the window. We ran off in the dark. We still have a good laugh at that one.
