I'm single because I am somewhat picky, am kind of busy and definitely don't want to stay in Indiana. At this stage of my life, I know what I want, its just finding the right guy.

I'm single because I'm a homebody. I go to work and the grocery store. I do some yardwork. When I do go places, I'm somewhat shy until I know people.

Might as well resign myself to the fact that after being divorced for 10 years, I'm probably going to stay on my own unless some divine intervention occurs!

Too shy, give up too easily, and there's that little problem of liking to shop for myself in the same department as the girls...

It just wouldn't be fair.

LOL love it! maybe that should be my reason too, but alas, I think it has more to do with my busy schedule and high standards. If I didn't have either I would definitely have a boyfriend, maybe even 3 or 4 lol

You will find someone that won't take you for granted.

I'm single because I'm old and all the old guys are busy chasing the young gals (because they can't accept that they're old). Come to think of it, I don't like being old either... but I tend to accept reality.

Add to that if you are loving and generous as well as "easy going and easy to please" you turn around one day and find you aren't his girlfriend you're more like HIRED HELP only not paid as well! I'd hear, "You're the greatest! You're just the greatest!" Yeah, yeah BITE ME!
