No, they were all different. Ranging from a pilot to a grocery store manager, some teachers, some in mechanical roles, some in commerce, IT.. really quite diverse.

I work in Telecommunications as an Area Manager. It just means that for the portfolios I manage, I'm responsible for ensuring co-ordination is properly in place for: Technology, Sales, Business & Operations. I also review and approveproject work specific to my portfolios and review Industry Code (with our Legal & Regulatory team having the final say) when it comes up for review every few years.

I had a high number of engineers.

I've also had several Sex Therapists. One that simply listed "Bum" (hey, at least he was honest). 2 drug dealers (again, had to like the honesty). And my favorite was Porn Star.

I had a lot of teachers (though teachers are a large portion of the labor force, and in a highly gender-imbalanced profession, this is logically-expected.)

I get mostly lawyers, physicians, engineers, business owners, consultants, and IT/technical professionals. I've had a few professors (including some law professors, which was weird for me), one judge (I'm trying to initiate communication with him - I'm just really curious about a single judge - lol), and some active-duty military. But overall pretty consistent, and I guess consistent with the area I live in terms of popular professions. One funny thing - I don't seem to get along with the physicians at ALL. They all seem to be in it to take care of people (which is great), and I just can't relate as I don't find that to be my calling in life. Weird though - I would never have expected that prior to internet dating.

You know, a part of me thinks this was a joke. But lately, your attitude has been so self-righteous, I'm not so sure.

I meant to put this in my post yesterday, but forgot - is anyone else getting matches listing their occupation as "Unemployed" ??

I get that quite often. Now I do understand that a lot of people have been, and are, facing lay-offs and losing their jobs and such. But, even when I FIRST did eH way back when (It's got to be 5 years ago - prior to my last LTR) I got that.

I closed them then. I close them now. Reason being - I figure if it's a recent lay-off you did work, right?? You're not just continuously unemployed, right?? Haven't you ever worked, in any field?? Ever?

I don't understand that. Anyone else get that??
