Hint if you cut and paste from Notepad all the formating codes will be stripped out and then we will be able to see your profile information.


Though I cannot see anything other than Word formating codes in your post. Please try again.

The truth is that online dating works well for very few men. Many I surmise who first get into it are anticipating a welcomed respite from the typical dating scene - a sanctuary away the games, the pettiness, the typical girlie pickiness and all the rest of it.


LOL - online dating is anything but! I found it to be actually worse , simply because you need a higher volume of contacts (read: rejection) to have any success. I'll leave additional rationalization for another thread, but your experience is actually not only not unheard of, it's quite common if not the majority experience for men.


In my experience, it literally took ~10 emails to get a response of any kind, 50% of those will result in a a back-n-forth communication, and only half of those will result in a first date, for a grand total of ~3% success to just get that first date. My success ratio in real life is much better; probably 50% to get that first date.


In short, many (dare I say most) men have felt the same as you about online dating; I certainly have - it was a major let down. If you stick with it there can be payback however; you just need to get into "volume" mode - the more you contact the more success you'll have, but I would caution that it's still dating, which means even online it's all about numbers and games.

Well, looking at your eHa profile, you mention Latin dancing/music a few times. How did you come to like it? Why do you seem to gravitate to it? Where and when did you learn to dance? How has dancing made your life better?


The best advice ever i got about my profile was to go beyond the lists of things and explain the why and wherefore behind them.
