I don't have a university degree because I chose not to go directly to uni after high school. I began working full-time and my priorities changed. I also didn't want to spend four years of my life in school soI chose to be college-educated instead. I'm sure college doesn't hold as high a regard as university in some eyes. But, it's still formal education and many are choosing this as an option over university - it's alot less expensive, the term is shorter and it provides practical, hands-on learning. Many college-educated people have great jobs and great income.

I personally value intelligence in a person. I like to read and I like to learn. I like to know what's going on in the world and like to keep up to date on current events. I'm a generally curious person. I want someone who can share that level of curiousity. I've closed matches based on their writing skills. Writing skills may not speak directly to a person's education level because a lot of people with university degrees can't spell or write to save their lives. But, if they can't spell or write a proper sentence, I'm honestly not interested.
