As long as this guy in Iraq does not ask you for money, which you should not send, and you have the time to chat with him, go for it. I do know two successful couples that met this way so it can happen.


Do not become anyone who you are not. But I applaud you for taking the time to work on you. Take a class in something that interests you or volunteer. Expand your horizons! It is also a great way to expand your network of connections. You never know when that nice lady you met has a cute son she wants you to meet.
