Doing RAKs makes me feel more connected to my community. It's a Tribal thang. I bet cave people did little favors for each other. Non-humans don't appear to do RAKs. I'm guessing we're wired to do them because they have survival value (darwin).
(or maybe because animals don't have the same sense of time so they have no idea about effecting future events.)
