The system breaks down when you don't actually have enough money to begin with to have a child. Just thought I would throw that out there.
Oh man. You sure hit on a major truth there.
In the Latin quarter of San Francisco, where I would go to shop at times (till a few years ago when I moved out),
I would see, a LOT, some 22-23 yo woman pregnant out to "here", pushing a baby carriage, down the sidewalk, with three small children following behind, like ducks.
WHAT was the dialog here:
"Well, we can't afford a baby, so hey, let's have TEN of them!!!"
