Yeah - I imagine it would be! It is why I find it so fascinating that:
* the US has the kinds of advertisements I'm learning about in this thread
* this website is US based and locks down threads and deletes posts - I can't reconcile that to right of Free Speech at all. Am I missing something in my understanding of Free Speech?
You have Freedom of Speech as an individual, but that doesn't mean people have to let you use their website/platform/microphone to do it. So you can still speak freely, but you may have to use your own money to sponsor it.
I'm going to bet someone else can explain it better, but it's a decent first try.
