It doesn't matter if it's a song by some "godless secular artist" extolling homespun family values; if God is not at the center, you are definitely "unspiritual" for listening to it. Then perhaps, we could further regulate and refine conduct, behavior, and attitudes and created the perfect city of God on earth; as Calvin did in Geneva? Under threat of strict punishment, no one will be excused from Sunday services, and heresy is a capital offense. Ah yes, we could create the perfect paradise on earth, where "God only" fan clubs are allowed. We could even print up T-shirts around Christmas time of Jesus vs. Santa, and how Jesus kicks Santa's @ss. We will have the perfect society as God intended, where everyone is a perfect cookie cutter robot, and no mindless or "unspiritual" diversions are allowed.
